The team is lead by a Certified Addictionologist, who is a past Director of the National Council on Alcoholism and who has been active in the field for 40 years. ASSESSMENT AND REFERRAL Assessments are based on the most current and comprehensive methods to insure an appropriate evaluation of patient needs and treatment recommendations. INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT Combined level of care focused on education and group counseling, assisting the patient toward ongoing recovery. CONTINUING CARE At the completion of Intensive Outpatient, the patient and family are eligible for one full year of continuing care treatment. FAMILY TREATMENT SERVICES Varying formats are provided according to individual family needs. GROUP COUNSELING Group interaction is encouraged. Group discussions focus on a variety of recovery related topics. Individualized counseling, which is confidential and appropriate for each patient’s needs, is also provided. RELAPSE PREVENTION Special programs developed by Pine Ridge, as well as other theraputic modalities, are utilized for aiding relapse prone persons to recover. EDUCATION Pine Ridge recognizes that there are individuals who do not require alcohol and drug treatment. Often they only need to learn about the negative effects of drugs and alcohol. Pine Ridge has developed a 2 section educational program. Each component is 5 sessions long. If 10 sessions are required, Section II can be added. This will allow flexibility based on the SAP, EAP, MAP Coordinator and Employer requirements. |
